Abstract

Sarcoidosis is a granulomatous disease of unknown etiology. It frequently involves thoracic lymph node and pulmonary parenchyme characterized by non-caseating granulomas and varying degrees of fibrosis. We have esxperienced a pulmonary
sarcoidosis
in
the left lower lobe of the lung in a 40 year old man who underwent left lower lobectomy by video-assisted thoracic surgery.
